'Tapi binatang lain x suke menjilat mcm anjing, sebab tu kene lebih hati2 kan..lagipun kalau Muslims bela anjing takkan nak kurung dalam cage pulak. Tak boleh camtu, siksa binatang. Ddeprived la dia.'

'Sebenarnye culture Muslims kat Malaysia ni yg tak bela anjing. Kadang2 kite confuse culture ngan religion, tu jek :D'

Today? Officially, the mngmnt has declared itself very dengki of us who can always ym while doing our work all day. Ym, yahoo.mail, hotmail, gmail, perezhilton, blogger are just few to name the sites which have been blocked...huu..the office is getting booooriing by minutes~

Ungku Aziz tells Malays to be No. 1 always

SEREMBAN: Malays need to be “kiasu", that is, always wanting to be No. 1 or the best in whatever field they are in, said Royal Professor Ungku Aziz.

He said although being “kiasu", meaning “extreme fear of losing” in Hokkien, had its good and bad side, Malays needed to imbibe the courageous aspect to achieve excellence in life.

The “kiasu” attitude is among the virtues that Malays must have to succeed, as outlined at a special forum at the National Agriculture Convention 2007 themed “Malays in Agriculture: Past, Present and Future", held here yesterday.

The two-day convention was organised by the Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Ministry, Umno economic bureau and Negri Sembilan Umno liaison committee to highlight the importance of agriculture to the Malay economy.

He said Malays must work harder to succeed.
“Some want to be rich but through the easy and fast way.

“They live in a fantasy world, so are not serious about their profession and responsibilities.”

If this situation prevailed, he said, the Malays would be weak and would lag behind.

He said the Malays’ productivity level was relatively low, even lower than that of the unskilled migrant workers.

He asked whether this was the result of the long period under colonisation, causing static and infertile minds. — Bernama

Huh, dont like the last statement (or is it a question? heh).

Tapi overall message?
Agree? not? I to some extent, yes I agree. But not forgetting.. We are what we are, but we also must must must succeed. Some ways? by, not forgetting our roots, our duty in the beautifully peaceful religion (yes, the most important) and not to lose our culture (the good ones).

I honestly feel, that this message should not only be addressed to MALAYS, but all MALAYSIANS regardless of our races.

**tambah air panas kalau daging x lembut
**elok daging dah lembut, biar sampai hitam dan pekat
**kering/ basah ikut selera ( tapi kami x suke kering sangat hehe)

This is one of the few books which i have recently read. Introduced by Ignita and my aunt.

Frankly speaking, the plot is strange. Strange yet, interestingly exciting.

It starts of by Susan Salmon; a young 14 year old girl who was brutally raped and murdered by a neighbour, Mr Harvey ( i should say, the same species of ppl who murdered arwah Nurin Jazlin).
She narrates the novel while she was in heaven, looking down to earth. Silently looking after the family and friends she left behind.

She saw the father appearing strong in front of everyone else, but easily breakdown when he was alone. Her mother displays her lust to 'Len Fennerman'; the police who was in charged of invistigating Susan's dissapearance.
Who later, announced the case as 'closed' when things became too hard and annoying for him.

She saw her sister and brother grew up without the mother, as the mother ran to pursuit what she hopes to be a better life.

All these she sees while Mr Harvey develops his lust on murder, while he count the bones and belongings of the dead.
Susan Salmon - Susie was faced with frustrations of not being able to help with everything that went on, on earth.

She can only observe hopefully for her dissappearance to be discovered, for everything to be just like before she was murdered.

This book reminds me a lot of what happen to Nurin Jazlin. Although the plot of murder was different, yet it is frighteningly similar.

Both displays lust for little girls, and both have the likes to murder.

Selamat membaca, ' the lovely bones ' is worth the read.

p/s maybe..just maybe, i shd try reading more of Alice Sebolds novels..hmm
